The Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai is organising the “Japanese Essay and Speech Contest” for Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels with the aim to encourage the students to express their own thoughts in Japanese and to give an opportunity to show their skill and ability to speak Japanese without hesitation.
A press release said,” The contests will be for three categories Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced and is open for all. For participating in the preliminary contest, the contestants are requested to fill up the entry form along with their essay handwritten in Japanese.”

Entry form along with the Essay should be sent by Speed Post or Courier only but should reach the Consulate-General of Japan (Culture Section), 12/1, Cenotaph Road, Teynampet, Chennai 600 018 by 12:00 p.m. by 12 December 2023. Entries sent through email will be rejected.
