In anticipation of the heightened passenger influx during the Sabarimala festival season, Southern Railway has announced the operation of special trains. Commencing on December 16 (Saturday), the No 06119 Tambaram – Kollam Sabari Special is scheduled to depart Tambaram at 1:30 pm, reaching Kollam at 6:45 am the following day. Correspondingly, the No 06120 Kollam – Tambaram Sabari Special will embark on December 17 (Sunday), departing Kollam at 10:45 am and arriving at Tambaram at 5:10 am the next day.
Facilitating the convenience of passengers, these specially designated trains will comprise two AC III tier coaches, five sleeper class coaches, 10 general second-class coaches, and two second-class coaches. This initiative aims to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience for devotees and travelers during the Sabarimala festival period.
