Bobby Balachandran, founder, president, and CEO of Exterro Inc., which provides a sophisticated tech platform for global corporations to better manage their governance, risk, and compliance needs. Bobby started out with a BE in computer science from Government College of Technology in Coimbatore in South India, and an MS in from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon in the US. He started Exterro in his garage in 2008. Today, the company is privately valued at more than a billion dollars with several top companies in the world as it’s client Meanwhile, Bobby’s passion has drawn him towards media and film industry. He will be presenting filmmaker Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Demonte Colony 2 and in the process of coming out with films in various genres. They are in various stages of production. Speaking to News Today, Bobby Balachandran says, ‘I am always attracted towards this ‘creative’ industry. I thought this venture would give me an opportunity to plenty of talents who are waiting for a break’. Stating that quite like his business where he set targets, worked hard, came up with methods to achieve it, he will be setting similar targets and achieve them with a vision. ‘Transparency in operations and encouraging deserving talents are our goal, he adds Having watched the industry from close quarters, Bobby says, ‘Not just production, but setting foot on various avenues in today’s media and entertainment industry will be our goal.’ Heaping laurels on Ajay Gnanamuthu and Demonte Colony 2, he says, ‘The theme is universal. Hence thought would be the right beginning for us here with this film’. Bobby is not new to cinema. He had been part of Hollywood Studios especially in Los Angeles. He says, ‘The knowledge that I failed there working there will ge of great use here’. Today having come out with several security software which in huge demand especially in cyber crimes, I fell a solid crime thriller is still missing on big screen.
