Chennai Metro Rail Company gets ISO certification

The certificates, including the esteemed ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management for Phase-1, were officially presented to M A Siddique, the Managing Director of Chennai Metro Rail Company. The ceremony took place at the company’s Head Office, where Winston Isaac, the Manager of the ISO Certificate Issuing Authority, Bureau VERITAS, handed over the accolades. These certificates mark a commendable acknowledgment of the company’s efforts, reflecting its dedication to maintaining high-quality standards and environmentally responsible practices. The recognition is a testament to the successful implementation of robust systems and processes in both execution and maintenance phases. The comprehensive audits conducted in August and November 2023 played a crucial role in assessing and affirming the company’s adherence to stringent quality and environmental management standards.
