Chennai, renowned for its bustling urban landscape, is set to witness significant traffic diversions as Chennai Metro initiates rail work in several important stretches.. The affected areas encompass three specified stretches, with Royapettah High Road, RK Mutt Road, and the vicinity of Thiruvenkadam Street Junction to Grace Super Market experiencing alterations in vehicular movement. Traffic Diversions Overview: Stretch 1: Royapettah High Road (Ajantha Junction to RK Salai X Royapettah High Road) Vehicles traveling from GRH Point to RK Salai via Ajantha Junction will be rerouted through V.P Raman Road, Judge Jumbulingam Street, and RK Salai. Vehicles heading from Royapettah High Road towards GRH Royapettah Bridge Service road will follow an alternative route via Niligris junction Academy service road and TTK Road. Specific streets like V.P Raman Road, V.M Street, and Judge Jumbulingam Street will be designated as “One Way” for all vehicles. Heavy vehicles are restricted from Ajantha Junction to Indian Bank Junction via ADMK Party Office. Stretch 2: RK Mutt Road (Luz Junction to Thirumylai MRTS) Vehicles from RK Salai on Royapettah High Road towards Mandaiveli junction will be diverted at Luz junction, passing through Luz Church road, DSilva road, Bakthavachalam street, Warren road, St Marys road, and CP Ramasamy road. Vehicles moving from RK Mutt Road towards Royapettah High Road will follow a redirected route at Venkatesa Agraharam Street, Dr. Ranga road, and Luz Avenue, among others. Certain streets, including East Mada Street and Venkatesa Agragaram Street, will be made “One Way” for all vehicles. Stretch 3: RK Mutt Road (Thiruvenkadam Street Junction to Grace Super Market) Diverted vehicles from Warren road will follow an alternative route through St. Mary`s road, CP Ramasamy road, Kaliappa junction, RA Puram 3rd cross street, and Kamarajar Salai. Vehicles heading from Greenways Junction to Mandaiveli will be rerouted at RK Mutt Road, Th
