Chennai, Jan 13: AIADMK Leader Criticizes BJP’s Annamalai for Comparing Modi to KamarajarIn a recent exchange of words, AIADMK deputy general secretary KP Munusamy expressed strong disapproval of BJP state president K Annamalai’s comparison of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the revered former Tamil Nadu chief minister K Kamaraj. Munusamy, addressing reporters in Krishnagiri, asserted that leaders, including PM Modi, should refrain from being equated with the iconic Kamarajar.
Munusamy emphasized Kamarajar’s unparalleled dedication to the welfare of the people, working tirelessly from dawn to dusk. He bluntly stated, “Annamalai should stop talking like this,” signaling his objection to the perceived parallel drawn between Modi and Kamarajar.
The criticism surfaced following Annamalai’s remarks, where he drew parallels between the leadership styles of Kamarajar and Narendra Modi, highlighting their commitment to social justice and clean politics.
Taking the critique further, Munusamy launched a direct attack on the BJP, questioning why Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who actively engages with investors during the Global Investors Meet (GIM) in Gujarat, is notably absent from similar events in other states. He called for Annamalai to provide an explanation for the Prime Minister’s absence at other GIMs held across the country.
