In a sweet and symbolic gesture, the grand consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 will feature the distribution of one lakh ‘Srivari laddus’ – the famous prasadam offered to Lord Venkateshwara in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati. The announcement was made by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which oversees the affairs of the world-renowned Lord Venkateswara temple.Addressing a press conference in Tirumala, AV Dharma Reddy, the executive officer of TTD, shared the heartwarming decision to distribute one lakh 25-gram ‘Srivari laddus’ as a goodwill gesture to the devotees and VVIPs attending the Ayodhya event. The ‘Srivari laddu’ is considered a sacred offering and is renowned for its unique taste, making it a cherished part of the spiritual experience for devotees.The ‘Srivari laddu’ has a special place in the hearts of devotees, and its distribution during the Ram Temple inauguration adds a touch of reverence to the event. The decision to extend this prasadam to all attendees, including VVIPs, underscores the inclusive spirit of the celebration, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds to partake in the momentous occasion.
