In a firm address to his party’s District Secretaries, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin issued a stern warning, emphasizing that he will not hesitate to take action against those who fail in election work. He also stressed the importance of giving due importance to the alliance parties of the INDIA bloc.Speaking at a virtual meeting of DMK district secretaries and Lok Sabha constituency observers, Stalin commended the functionaries for the success of ‘Urimaigalai Meetka Stalinin Kural’, a series of public meetings leading up to the Lok Sabha elections.
Asserting confidence in the INDIA bloc’s prospects, Stalin expressed his belief that the alliance will sweep all 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. He emphasized the need for an overwhelming victory and warned of consequences for functionaries who fail to prioritize victory in the upcoming Parliamentary polls.Stalin underscored that party members who excel in their election duties will receive recognition within the DMK. He also hinted at forthcoming changes within the party structure following the Lok Sabha elections.Additionally, three resolutions were adopted during the meeting, including the implementation of ‘Illamthorum Stalinin Kural’, a door-to-door campaign.Stalin’s address reflects the DMK’s commitment to ensuring a strong performance in the upcoming elections and underscores the party’s determination to prioritize victory and effective alliance management.
