Nivetha Pethuraj took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday to address and refute baseless rumours circulating about her personal life. In a strongly-worded post, she expressed her dismay over false allegations and emphasized the need for people to exercise caution before spreading misinformation.

In her post, Nivetha highlighted the distress caused to her and her family due to the unwarranted rumours, particularly regarding lavish spending. She urged individuals to consider the repercussions of their actions and urged for responsible behaviour when disseminating information.
The actress,  known for her acclaimed performances in films such as “Oru Naal Koothu,” “Thimiru Pudichavan,” and “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” provided insights into her background to counter the allegations made against her. She emphasized her family’s dignified upbringing and financial stability, asserting that she has been financially independent since the age of 16.
Nivetha further clarified that her family resides in Dubai, where they have been settled for over two decades. She underscored her commitment to integrity in both her personal and professional life, stating that she has never sought out opportunities in the film industry but rather let them come to her based on her talent and merit.
Despite her success in the movie industry, Nivetha reiterated that she has never pursued roles or financial gains out of greed. She emphasized her principled approach to her career, emphasizing that her work has always been guided by passion and dedication rather than materialistic pursuits.
