Committed to defeat BJP in LS polls: Stalin

In a resolute declaration, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin has affirmed the continuity of the Victory alliance’s momentum into the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. Asserting the coalition’s formidable strength, Stalin urged party cadres to approach the electoral battlefield with unwavering dedication, envisioning every constituency as a battleground where the spirit of the alliance prevails.

“Our Victory alliance continues for the 2024 General Election also. Cadres should do groundwork thinking ‘MK Stalin’ is the candidate in all 40 constituencies,” stated MK Stalin, underscoring the unwavering commitment of the alliance to maintain its winning streak and uphold the aspirations of the people.

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), the ruling party in Tamil Nadu, solidified its electoral strategy by sealing a seat-sharing pact with the Congress, both key allies of the INDIA bloc. Under the agreement, the Congress will contest nine seats, while the DMK will vie for 21 constituencies, consolidating their collaborative efforts to secure victory in the upcoming polls.

Reflecting on the resounding success of the DMK-led alliance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Stalin reminisced about the landslide triumph that saw the coalition clinch an impressive 38 out of 39 seats. The Congress, a vital component of the alliance, secured an impressive eight seats out of the nine contested, reaffirming the collective strength and unity of purpose driving the coalition forward.

While emphasizing the formidable presence of the INDI alliance, Stalin underscored the shared commitment to thwarting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies in the upcoming electoral battle.
