Ready to work with actor Vijay’s party, says Ravindhranath

In a significant statement, P Ravindhranath Kumar, the sitting Lok Sabha member from Theni and son of former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, expressed his willingness to collaborate with actor Vijay’s political party, Thamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), if it serves the interests of Tamil Nadu. Addressing the media on Thursday, Ravindhranath Kumar emphasized the importance of actors like Vijay engaging in politics, citing their potential to implement welfare programs beneficial to the people. Acknowledging Vijay’s commendable efforts in conducting various welfare initiatives, Ravindhranath Kumar highlighted the positive impact of actors transitioning into political roles, underscoring the need for diverse voices in democratic governance. He viewed the launch of Vijay’s party as a significant step towards his continued contribution to the development of Tamil Nadu. Responding to queries about potential collaboration with Vijay’s party, Ravindhranath Kumar affirmed his readiness to work alongside them if their agenda aligns with the welfare and progress of the state. Ravindhranath Kumar expressed confidence in the electoral prospects of his father, O Panneerselvam, contesting from the Ramanathapuram constituency as an independent candidate within the BJP-led NDA alliance. Additionally, he predicted victories for AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran, also part of the NDA, contesting from the Theni Parliamentary constituency, which Ravindhranath Kumar currently represents.
