BJP State president K Annamalai has launched a scathing attack on Congress MP Jothimani, urging voters in the Karur Lok Sabha constituency to reject her and instead support the BJP candidate Senthilnathan in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a campaign event in Gujiliamparai, which falls within the Karur constituency, Annamalai criticized Jothimani for her alleged failure to fulfill her duties as an MP over the past five years. He highlighted the importance of the 2024 elections in determining the future government at the Centre, emphasizing that electing a BJP candidate from Tamil Nadu would lead to manifold development and growth for the state.
Taking aim at the DMK government, Annamalai accused it of reneging on its promises and engaging in blame games instead of delivering on its commitments. He asserted that only the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, could bring about meaningful change for the people and the nation.
Annamalai emphasized the need to oust Jothimani from office, citing her alleged absence from the constituency and failure to fulfill her electoral pledges. He assured voters that Senthilnathan, if elected, would prioritize serving the people and remain accessible to the public.
