Fans of superstar Rajinikanth have reason to rejoice as the much-awaited film “Vettaiyan” is slated to hit the silver screens in October. The announcement was made by the production house behind the film, Lyca Productions, on their social media platforms sending waves of excitement among cinephiles.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, whose directorial prowess was showcased in the critically acclaimed Suriya-starrer “Jai Bhim” (2021), “Vettaiyan” promises to be a cinematic extravaganza. The film boasts an ensemble cast comprising some of the most talented actors from across the industry, including the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Rithika Singh, and VJ Rakshan.
One of the most eagerly anticipated aspects of “Vettaiyan” is the on-screen reunion of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after 33 years. The last time these iconic actors shared the screen was in the Hindi film “Hum” in 1991, making their collaboration in “Vettaiyan” a momentous occasion for fans.
