Some Chennai suburban trains cancelled

Southern Railway has announced the cancellation and partial cancellation of several suburban trains from May 19 to 20 due to essential engineering work at Chennai Park railway station. This move is expected to affect numerous commuters traveling between Chennai Beach and Tambaram, as well as Chengalpet and Chennai Beach.

The 11:00 PM train on May 18 will run only up to Egmore.
The 10:10 PM train on May 18 will run only up to Tambaram.
The 3:55 AM train on May 19 will depart from Chennai Egmore instead of Chennai Beach.
These changes are necessitated by the ongoing engineering works at Chennai Park, which aim to enhance the railway infrastructure and improve service reliability. Southern Railway officials have advised passengers to check the latest schedules and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
