MCC emerges winner


After a long hiatus, the Tamil Nadu Billiards and Snooker Association (TNBSA) successfully hosted a team tournament at its premises, drawing participation from local clubs, academies, and parlours. The competition saw 19 teams with a total of 133 players vying for the top spot.

In a thrilling final, the Madras Cricket Club (MCC) defeated Q Ball City (QBC-1) 3-1 to win the tournament, taking home the winner’s trophy and cash prize. The prize distribution ceremony featured notable TNBSA officials, including winning team and losing finalist.
Among those present at the valedictory were: Daksh Reddy (MCC), M C Manoj (MCC), Anupama Ramachandran (MCC), Varun Kumar (MCC), Siddarth Rao (MCC), Natraj (Joint Secretary, TNBSA), B G Muralidharan (President, TNBSA), Waseem Ahmed (Member in Charge – Billiards and Snooker, TNBSA), Sivakumar (Treasurer, TNBSA), Rajaram (Chief Referee), Hariherran (Tournament Director, Committee Member, TNBSA), and Samiullah (Referee, Tables Incharge, TNBSA).
Special mention was made about the work put in by Hariherran (Tournament Director), Rajaram (Chief Referee), and referees Sekar, Samiullah, and Vijay Kumar (Style).

The trophies were sponsored by Harikumar (ABC), and the quarter-finals prize money was sponsored by Sarangarajan (TNSC), V J Saravanan (TNCA), Jeyasendhilnadhan (TNCA), Mastermind Cuesports Academy, Pallikaranai, and Gurumurthy (Member, TNBSA).
