Despite the departure of prominent leaders like Nitish Kumar and Mamata Banerjee from the INDIA bloc, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has played a pivotal role in coordinating the alliance, which is steadily moving towards securing a decisive victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, stated Minister and DMK principal secretary KN Nehru on Friday.Speaking at the Tiruchy district committee meeting, Minister Nehru highlighted the relentless efforts of the DMK cadre. He praised their dedication, particularly in the Tiruchy constituency, where the party leadership had allocated the segment to the alliance partner MDMK. Nehru commended the DMK workers for their unwavering commitment to ensuring victory for the alliance candidate without any hesitation.
Similarly, Nehru acknowledged the exceptional work of the DMK cadre in the Perambalur segment, underscoring their collective effort and determination.
In addition to election preparations, Nehru announced plans to commemorate the 101st birth anniversary of the late Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. The celebration will be held in grand style across 402 panchayats in the district, reflecting the party’s deep respect and admiration for the former leader.
