The police control room received the alarming call, prompting swift action from the Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad.Upon receiving the threat, security personnel quickly mobilized and conducted thorough checks at Raj Bhavan. After extensive searches, the Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad personnel declared the threat to be unfounded.
Police investigations traced the origin of the call to Kallakurichi, where they discovered that the threat was made by an individual with mental disabilities. Police sources indicated that the caller is a habitual offender known for making such threats. Given his mental condition, authorities issued him a stern warning and decided to release him without further legal action.
