AMMK leader T.T.V. Dhinakaran has voiced strong criticism against the DMK government, joining the chorus of dissatisfaction over the unaddressed vacancies in various government departments. Dhinakaran’s remarks come in the wake of similar concerns raised by Leader of Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami, underscoring a growing frustration among political leaders regarding the government’s inaction.Dhinakaran highlighted that nearly 40% of the positions in the Chief Minister’s Special Cell remain unfilled. “If this is the situation in the CM’s special cell, how will the government cope with the vacant posts in various other government departments?” he questioned, drawing attention to the widespread issue of unfilled vacancies across the state administration.
Pointing to the DMK’s election promise to fill these vacant positions, Dhinakaran stressed that the number of aspirants for government jobs has been increasing steadily. This rising demand places additional pressure on the government to honor its commitment and ensure that public services are delivered efficiently.
“The government should act swiftly to fill the vacant posts to honor its poll promise, besides ensuring quality service to the public,” Dhinakaran urged. He emphasized that fulfilling these vacancies is not only about keeping electoral promises but also about maintaining the quality of public service and governance.
