Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh announce Double ISMART release date

Hyderabad: The dynamic duo of Ustaad Ram Pothineni and sensational director Puri Jagannadh are back with the sequel to their blockbuster hit, “iSmart Shankar.” Titled “Double ISMART,” the film is set to hit theaters on Independence Day, August 15, as announced by the makers.
Independence Day is an ideal release date, offering a holiday on Thursday followed by another public holiday on Monday (Raksha Bandhan), providing a long weekend for audiences to flock to theaters. The powerful release date poster reveals Ram in an intense, power-packed avatar, sporting three horizontal lines of Vibhooti, with a Shiva Lingam and a flambeau in the background, hinting at a spiritually charged, action-filled narrative.
“Double ISMART” promises to amplify the madness and excitement of its predecessor, “iSmart Shankar.” Puri Jagannadh is set to present Ram Pothineni in a stylish, massy, and action-packed role that fans eagerly anticipate. Ram reprises his role with double the flair and intensity, ensuring a thrilling cinematic experience.
The film features Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt in a significant role as the antagonist, adding a formidable presence to the film. Kavya Thapar stars opposite Ram Pothineni as the lead actress. The film’s technical crew includes cinematographers Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli, with music composed by Mani Sharma. “Double ISMART” is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner.
