The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA-2024) has commenced the certificate verification process for over 1.9 lakh candidates aspiring to secure engineering seats. According to a senior official from the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), the entire TNEA-2024 process—including registration, payment, choice filling, certificate verification, allotment, and confirmation—is being conducted online.The certificate verification process, which recently began, will continue until June 30. Candidates have the option to verify their certificates online or in person at one of the 110 student facilitation centres established across all districts. This includes 11 centres in Chennai, specifically set up to assist those without internet access.
The June 30 deadline for certificate verification is a crucial milestone in the TNEA-2024 timeline. Following the verification and review of all documents, the rank list will be published on July 10. The dates for counselling are yet to be announced, as they depend on the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) releasing the academic schedule for engineering admissions. However, counselling is expected to begin in the first week of August.
