Southern Railway has announced the operation of special trains between Tambaram and Tiruvannamalai to facilitate the movement of pilgrims for the Pournami Girivalam on Friday and Saturday. Departure from Tambaram: 12:00 hrs on Friday
Arrival at Tiruvannamalai: 16:00 hrs on the same day

Villupuram: Arrival at 14:20 hrs, Departure at 14:40 hrs
Tiruvannamalai to Tambaram (Train No. 06128):
Departure from Tiruvannamalai: 08:00 hrs on Saturday
Arrival at Tambaram: 12:30 hrs on the same day

Pournami Girivalam, a significant spiritual event, attracts thousands of pilgrims to Tiruvannamalai every full moon night.
