The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) has announced an extension for the submission of online applications for its undergraduate programs. The new deadline is now June 28, 2024, at 5 PM for candidates from Tamil Nadu.
This decision comes in response to numerous requests from parents and students seeking additional time to complete their applications. The programs affected by this extension include the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech).
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Admission Committee (UG), TANUVAS, it was also noted that the deadline for NRI/ Wards of NRI/ NRI sponsored and Foreign National category candidates has been extended to July 5, 2024, at 5 PM. Application Process and Response
TANUVAS opened the application process for the 2024-25 academic year on June 3, 2024, at 10 AM, with the original deadline set for June 21, 2024, at 5 PM. As of June 19, 2024, the university has received a total of 13,978 online applications. Of these, 11,586 candidates have applied for the B.V.Sc & AH program, while 2,392 candidates have submitted applications for the B.Tech courses.
