Air India Express is set to introduce direct flights from Chennai to Dhaka, commencing on September 3. This new service comes in response to the growing demand for travel between the two cities and will provide passengers with an additional flight option, alongside existing services operated by Indigo Airlines and Bangla Airlines.The new Air India Express flights will operate six days a week, excluding Mondays. The flight is scheduled to depart from Chennai International Airport at 7:00 PM and arrive in Dhaka at 10:10 PM. The return flight will leave Dhaka at noon and land in Chennai at 4:50 PM.
One of the key highlights of this new service is the competitive pricing. Air India Express has announced that ticket fares will start from as low as Rs 4,796, offering a more affordable alternative to the existing operators on this route.
This new flight service is expected to be particularly beneficial for frequent travelers between Chennai and Dhaka, providing them with more flexible scheduling options and potentially lower travel costs.
