Chennai: In a tragic road accident near Natham in Dindigul district, three members of the same family lost their lives.
The accident occurred when a private school bus, belonging to a CBSE school in Natham and carrying students, was en route to Azhagarkovil. At the same time, a motorcycle carrying three members of a family was approaching from the opposite direction on a narrow road.
Due to the motorcycle riding on the wrong side of the road, it collided with the school bus. The impact of the collision was severe, leading to the death of all three on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Murugan, 40, his wife Panju, and their 6-year-old son Sridhar, all residents of Lingavadi.
Natham police have taken custody of the bodies and sent them to Natham Government Hospital for further investigation. The police are continuing their inquiry into the incident.
