At the TVK conference, a video featuring the party’s flag and name was released with a voiceover from party leader Vijay, explaining the significance behind each element of the party’s identity.

In his speech, Vijay began, “Tamil Nadu signifies the land of Tamils; it’s a term deeply rooted in our literature and history. This name serves as a unique identity for our people, which is why ‘Tamil’ appears as the first word of our party’s name. We need a powerful identity, not only in politics but as a reflection of our broader community. Our name should be emblematic of this identity.”

He continued, “‘Victory’ holds a positive meaning, carrying strength, resonance, and determination. This is why we chose it as the second word in our party’s name. The term ‘Federation’ (Kazhagam in Tamil) represents a place where forces are trained. Just as young lions hone their skills, this federation will be a place where our young party members train in politics.”

Explaining the colors on the flag, Vijay said, “The deep blood-red symbolizes revolution, reflecting control, responsibility, and strategic thinking. The yellow stands for happiness, optimism, clarity, enthusiasm, energy, and the drive to move toward our goals. These colors were carefully selected for the party flag to inspire and lead.”

The emblem of the flag prominently features the ‘Vagai Flower,’ symbolizing victory. “In ancient Tamil culture, the Vagai flower signifies triumph; it represents victory not only for a ruler but also for the people and the land. This is why the Vagai flower has been placed on our flag,” Vijay explained.

Further, Vijay spoke of the dual war elephants depicted on the flag. “An elephant is symbolic of strength, uniqueness, and prominence. War elephants are unmatched in battle, instilling fear and driving away enemies. These two war elephants signify our readiness for any challenge and serve as an emblem of strength against all adversaries. For those who need to understand, these elephants symbolize our resilience and readiness to confront any opposition.”

Surrounding the Vagai flower, the flag includes 28 stars in green and blue, representing the party’s goals and aspirations, as well as symbolizing social harmony and peace. Vijay concluded, “With the Tamil Nadu Victory Federation flag soaring high as a beacon of Tamil Nadu’s success, it’s certain that the people of Tamil Nadu will carry this flag forward.”
