Shabeer Kallarakkal aims high

2024 has been a transformative year for actor Shabeer Kallarakkal, marking a significant resurgence in his career with an array of impressive performances across regional cinema. His journey this year has been celebrated with critical acclaim for standout roles in four major films, including the Telugu hit Naa Saami Ranga, the poignant Tamil drama Birthmark, and the Malayalam film Kondal. However, what truly elevates this milestone year for Shabeer is his Kannada cinema debut in the much-anticipated movie Bhairathi Ranagal alongside the legendary Shivarajkumar.

Sharing his excitement about entering the Kannada film industry, Shabeer expressed, “This marks my debut in Kannada cinema, and as a huge fan of the Mufti movie, this opportunity is surreal. Working alongside Shivanna sir has been a dream come true—his stardom is matched only by his humility. His meticulous attention to eye expressions and subtle body language has been a profound source of inspiration for me. The journey of creating this project has been an invaluable learning experience.”

Shabeer also highlighted how this opportunity has not only fulfilled a dream but has ignited his passion for pursuing more projects in Kannada cinema, embracing diverse characters and narratives. “This role has empowered me to pursue numerous Kannada projects, no matter the character,” he said, emphasizing the enriching and welcoming environment on set. The cast and crew, brimming with legendary actors, made the shooting process both productive and enjoyable, adding to the actor’s sense of fulfillment.

The anticipation surrounding Bhairathi Ranagal is heightened by Shabeer’s participation, with audiences eager to see how he brings his unique flair to the big screen alongside Shivarajkumar, whose reputation as an icon in Kannada cinema precedes him.

With a lineup of releases spanning different languages over the next few months, Shabeer Kallarakkal is poised to make a significant impact on the Indian film industry. His diverse roles and newfound foray into Kannada cinema signal an exciting phase for his career and solidify his status as a versatile and sought-after actor.
