Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Annamalai has emphasized the importance of honesty and unity among party members. He stated that the BJP has grown significantly in Tamil Nadu, with a five-fold increase in membership over the past year.Annamalai, who recently returned from a trip to the UK, addressed a meeting of state and district-level leaders in Chennai. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of party members, which has contributed to the BJP’s growth in the state.
The Tamil Nadu BJP chief emphasized the need for party members to work honestly and unite to achieve their goals. He encouraged members to take advantage of the ongoing intra-party elections to ascend to leadership positions through honest means.
Annamalai also stressed the importance of maintaining good relationships with other parties in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) coalition. He expressed confidence that the current coalition would continue in Tamil Nadu.
Regarding the possibility of new parties joining the NDA coalition, Annamalai stated that the decision would be made by the central leadership. He assured party members that they need not worry about this issue.
