The second single from Madraskaaran, a vibrant remix of A.R. Rahman’s iconic Kaadhal Sadugudu from Alaipayuthey, has been released. Reimagined by Nandhagopan V and sung by Adithya RK, the track features actors Shane Nigam and Niharika Konidela in a visually stunning dance sequence that complements the fresh take on this classic hit.
Directed by Vaali Mohan Das, Madraskaaran marks Shane Nigam’s entry into Tamil cinema. Alongside Shane and Niharika, the film includes performances by Kalaiyarasan, Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, and Pandiarajan. The story revolves around the repercussions of an ego clash between two individuals, showcasing how a seemingly insignificant incident can alter one’s life trajectory.
The film is described as an action thriller, drawing comparisons to gripping dramas like Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Driving Licence. Fans of Shane Nigam may also find similarities to his acclaimed Malayalam film Ishq.
Produced by B. Jagadish under the banner of SR Productions, Madraskaaran features cinematography by Prasanna S. Kumar, editing by R. Vasanthakumar, and an original score by Sam C.S. The first single from the movie, “Thai Thakka Kalyanam,” released in September, received praise for its catchy composition and vibrant presentation.
