Amit Shah to visit TN on Dec 27, Cong plans protest

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Tamil Nadu on December 27 to inaugurate newly constructed BJP district offices. The Tamil Nadu BJP has been actively constructing party offices in various districts, with the offices in Tiruvannamalai, Coimbatore, and Ramanathapuram now ready.

During his visit, Amit Shah will stay overnight in Chennai and travel to Tiruvannamalai the next day. He will inaugurate the district BJP office in Tiruvannamalai and, through video conferencing, open the offices in Coimbatore and Ramanathapuram.

In response to Shah’s visit, the Tamil Nadu Congress has announced a black flag protest to express their opposition. This highlights the ongoing political tensions in the state as Shah prepares for his official engagements.
