Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is deeply committed to improving the livelihood of farmers, Industries Minister TRB Rajaa said on Tuesday. Highlighting the CM’s focus, Rajaa stated that Stalin encourages investors visiting Tamil Nadu to devise schemes that uplift farmers’ economic conditions.
During an interaction with cotton farmers in Tiruvarur, the minister emphasized the government’s dual focus on industrial growth and farmers’ welfare. Rajaa revealed that new guidelines introduced for cotton farmers would ensure higher yields and provide access to government schemes and profitable pricing.
“The Chief Minister’s efforts aim to improve the living standards of farmers, alongside boosting industrial development,” Rajaa added.
The meeting was attended by District Collector T. Charusree, agricultural officials, and other stakeholders.
