Chennai’s Semmozhi Poonga is set to host its second annual flower show from January 2 to January 18. The event, running daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., will feature over 30 lakh live flowering plants, including petunias, marigolds, delphiniums, and roses.
Sourced from Ooty, Kodaikanal, Krishnagiri, and Hosur, the plants are creatively arranged into structures like a clock, train, and butterfly, offering a visual treat for visitors. These live plants are organically grown to bloom in January and carefully arranged in shaded areas.
With over 50 varieties on display, tickets can be purchased online or at the venue.
