OPS meets Rajini in city

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam (OPS) met superstar Rajinikanth on Monday evening in what was described as a courtesy visit.

The meeting, held at Rajinikanth’s residence, was reportedly arranged as a New Year gesture. Speaking to the media afterward, OPS clarified the nature of the visit.

“No Political Discussions”

“I met Rajinikanth to convey my New Year wishes and as a mark of respect. He is in good health. There were no political discussions during the meeting,” OPS stated.

This meeting has sparked speculation among political observers, but OPS emphasized that it was purely a personal interaction and not politically motivated.

Rajinikanth, a cultural icon in Tamil Nadu, has remained a central figure in the state’s public sphere, even though he has distanced himself from active politics.
