Music composer and actor GV Prakash Kumar has completed filming for his upcoming film, Kingston. Written and directed by debutant Kamal Prakash, the film is touted as “India’s first sea fantasy adventure” and also features Dhivyabharathi in a pivotal role.Recently, the makers released the teaser for Kingston, hinting at a mix of fantasy, adventure, and horror elements. The teaser showcases GV Prakashās character and others embarking on a mysterious quest aboard a ship. Dialogue snippets like Elango Kumaravelās ominous warning to children, “Anyone who went to the ocean never came back alive,” and another characterās line, “Did you call me (into the sea) by cooking up a story?” add intrigue to the narrative.
The ensemble cast includes Chetan, Azhagam Perumaal, Antony, Sabumon Abdusamad, Arunachaleswaran, and Rajesh Balachandiran. GV Prakash himself has composed the filmās music, while Gokul Benoy handles cinematography, San Lokesh is in charge of editing, and SS Moorthy oversees art direction.
Produced by GV Prakash in collaboration with Umesh KR Bansal, Kingston marks a milestone as GV Prakash’s 25th film as an actor.
