In a recent cabinet reshuffle, the Khadi and Village Industries Board, previously overseen by Minister Rajakannappan, has been transferred to Minister Ponmudi. The Tamil Nadu Governorās office officially announced this change following a recommendation from Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.Ponmudi, who earlier served as the Higher Education Minister, was reassigned to the Forest Department a few months ago. With this latest development, he will now handle both the Forest Department and the Khadi & Village Industries Board.
Meanwhile, Rajakannappan will continue as the Dairy Development Minister, focusing solely on that portfolio.
This reshuffle comes ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Budget Session, expected to commence in a few days.
