Kumbh Mela to conclude tomorrow

The grand Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13 at Triveni Sangam, is set to conclude tomorrow (February 26). In light of this, authorities have imposed strict new restrictions to manage the massive crowd expected on the final day.
Over 630 Million Pilgrims Participated
So far, an estimated 630 million devotees have taken part in the Kumbh Mela, making it one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. As tomorrow marks the final day, authorities anticipate an unprecedented surge in devotees, prompting intensified security and precautionary measures.
Traffic Restrictions in Prayagraj
To regulate the massive influx of people, vehicle movement across Prayagraj has been restricted from 4 PM today (February 25). Only essential services, including milk, vegetables, medicines, and fuel supply, will be allowed.
Medical professionals, police personnel, and administrative officials will be exempted from restrictions to ensure smooth functioning of emergency services.
Additionally, authorities have enforced a rule requiring devotees to bathe only in designated areas near their entry points to prevent overcrowding at specific locations.
With heightened security and crowd control measures in place, the administration is ensuring a safe and organized conclusion to this grand spiritual event.
