The much-awaited trailer of Leg Piece, directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Srinath, has been released, promising an entertaining ride packed with humor and satire. Known for his performances in Santosh Subramaniam, Maasilamani, and Vettaikaaran, Srinath has previously helmed Muthirai and Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham. With Leg Piece, he brings together a stellar lineup of comedy stars, led by Yogi Babu.
The trailer showcases hilarious sequences that poke fun at well-known films, including Vikram, Sarpatta Parambarai, and Kantara. Adding to the excitement, the film also references actor Vijay’s iconic dialogue, “En nenjil kudi irukkum nanba, nanbigal,” making it a treat for fans of Tamil cinema.
Leg Piece features a stellar ensemble cast, including VTV Ganesh, Ravi Mariya, Mottai Rajendran, Karunakaran, Ramesh Thilak, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, John Vijay, Saravana Subbiah, the late G. Marimuthu, Chaams, Madhusudhan Rao, and Manikandan. The film’s story, screenplay, and dialogues are penned by SA Padmanabhan.
The film’s music is composed by Bjorn Surrao, known for his collaborations with Anirudh on tracks like Master the Blaster (Master) and Jolly O Gymkhana (Beast). A single from the film, Dikila Dikila, featuring vocals by Anirudh and Bjorn, was released on February 16, generating buzz among music lovers. The lyrics are written by Ramakrishna and Bjorn.
Cinematographer Masani, editors Shanmuga Priyan SR and Sathya Mohan, and art director Mujeeb form the technical backbone of Leg Piece. Stunt choreography is handled by Sharp Shiva.
With a mix of slapstick comedy, satire, and a powerhouse cast, Leg Piece looks set to be a laugh riot. Fans of Tamil cinema can look forward to a film that celebrates humor with a refreshing take on pop culture references.
