Lijomol Jose’s Gentlewoman gets UA


With just weeks to go before its theatrical release on March 7, the makers of Gentlewoman, directed by debutant Joshua Sethuraman, have announced that the film has successfully cleared the censorship process. The film has been awarded a U/A certificate by the Central Bureau of Film Certification (CBFC), with the makers advising that only viewers above 16 should watch it.
The recently released trailer hints at an investigative thriller with a strong social commentary, delving into themes of religion, caste, and feminism. Starring Jai Bhim fame Lijomol Jose alongside Harikrishnan and Losliya, the film promises an intense narrative driven by thought-provoking themes.
The film’s music is composed by Govind Vasantha, with lyrics and dialogues penned by Yugabharathi. The technical team includes Sa Kathavarayan as the cinematographer, Elayaraja Sekar as the editor, and A Amaran as the production designer. The action sequences are handled by stunt choreographer Sudesh.
The supporting cast features Rajiv Gandhi, Dharani, Vairabalan, Nandithaa Sreekumar, and Sudesh. Gentlewoman is jointly produced by Komala
