The trailer of Kingston, a fantasy-adventure film starring G. V. Prakash Kumar, has been released. Jointly produced by Jio Studios and Parallel Universe Pictures, the film is directed by debutant Kamal Prakash.The trailer launch event in Chennai saw the presence of industry veterans, including Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Vetrimaaran, Sudha Kongara, Pa. Ranjith, and Ashwath Marimuthu.
G. V. Prakash Kumar, who has also composed the film’s music, expressed his excitement, calling Kingston a Tamil fantasy rooted in local storytelling traditions. He revealed that the first shot was directed by Kamal Haasan and thanked Jio Studios for supporting the vision.
With high-end visual effects, large-scale sets, and an engaging storyline, Kingston promises a unique cinematic experience. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 7.
