AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) has strongly criticized the DMK government, stating that Tamil Nadu has become unsafe for women and children under its rule.
Citing recent crimes, he highlighted shocking incidents, including the sexual harassment of a five-year-old girl on a bus in Chengalpattu, the sexual assault of a minor near Bhavani, a lawyer’s daylight murder in Paramakudi, and the brutal stabbing of a teacher in Mayiladuthurai.
EPS accused Chief Minister M.K. Stalin of neglecting law and order, focusing on irrelevant matters while crimes against women continue to rise. He urged the government to take immediate action, calling the situation an “unforgivable betrayal” of Tamil Nadu’s women.
