Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay will participate in an Iftar event organized by the party at YMCA, Royapettah, this evening.
Vijay will personally break the fast and host a feast for the Muslim community attending the event. Arrangements have been made for nearly 2,000 participants, and imams from 15 nearby mosques have been invited.
Security measures have been reviewed in preparation for Vijayās presence at the event.
It may be recalled that Vijay had said the delimitation exercise based on population will hurt the southern states by reducing their representation in Lok Sabha in a statement a couple days ago.
