The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has advised traders to renew their business licences before March 31. Renewals can be done online at chennaicorporation.gov.in, through e-service centres, zonal offices, or license inspectors.As per Rule 289 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Government Rules 2023, all businesses within Chennai Corporation limits must obtain a licence from the commissioner. The renewed licences will be valid for one to three years, as per Rule 300A of Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies.
