Sasikumar and Simran’s Tourist Family Set for May 1 ReleaseActor Sasikumar and actress Simran are coming together for the much-anticipated film Tourist Family, which is set to hit theatres on May 1. Directed by debutant Abishan Jeevinth, the film promises to be a feel-good entertainer with a strong emotional core.
The story revolves around a Tamil family fleeing Sri Lanka due to the island nation’s post-COVID economic crisis, blending humor with heartfelt moments. The film, which completed its shoot in January, features an ensemble cast including Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bucks, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi.
Tourist Family is produced by Pasilian Nazerath, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banners of Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment.
The film’s technical crew includes Sean Roldan as the music composer, Aravind Viswanathan handling cinematography, Barath Vikraman as the editor, Raj Kamal as the art director, and Mohan Rajan as the lyricist.
