Delhi Capitals (DC) thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets in IPL 2025, chasing down 164 with four overs to spare. Opting to bat first, SRH were bundled out for just 163, as Mitchell Starc picked up a superb five-wicket haul.
He picked up three wickets in the powerplay, as SRH were down to 37/4 inside the first five overs. Uncapped star Aniket Verma tried his best, slamming 74.
In the run chase, Faf du Plessis smashed a 26-ball fifty to ensure that IPL debutant Zeeshan Ansari’s three wickets wouldn’t make a difference in the end.
