Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister P.Chidambaram was on Tuesday admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad following indisposition, even as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin spoke to his son and enquired about his health condition.Chidambaram is in Ahmedabad to attend the AICC session.
After coming to know that he was admitted to a hospital for treatment, Mr Stalin spoke to his son and Lok Sabha MP Karti Chidambaram over phone and enquired about his health condition, an official release said.
Meanwhile, Chidambaram in a social media post, said he suffered dehydration because of extreme heat and was perfectly well now after all the tests tured out to be normal.
Writing on X, he said “Because of extreme heat, I suffered dehydration.”
“All tests are normal. I am perfectly well now”, he added.
Reports received here said Chidambaram suddendly fainted due to the intense heat and was rushed to the hospital for treatment and after tests he was now perfectly well.
