BJP leader Annamalai has strongly criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for setting up a new committee to study Centre-State relations. He said Stalin is living in a “fantasy world” and is wasting taxpayers’ money on unnecessary panels.
The new committee, led by retired Supreme Court judge Kurian Joseph, is meant to review how the Central and State governments work together. But Annamalai said this is just one of many such committees the DMK has formed since 2021, and people still don’t know how much money was spent or what results came from them.
Annamalai also spoke about the NEET exam. He said the DMK supported NEET in the past and that the Chief Minister should stop blaming others now. He asked how many government school students missed medical seats before 2014.
Annamalai said the BJP government gave Tamil Nadu much more money than the earlier governments and asked CM Stalin to stop creating drama and focus on improving governance.
