Actor Dhanush is all set to collaborate with director Mari Selvaraj for his 56th film, tentatively titled D56. The project, backed by Vels Film International, has already created much buzz, and the latest exciting update is that Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman will be scoring the music for the film.The announcement was made by producer Ishari K Ganesh during the pre-release event of Sumo, a film starring Shiva and produced under the same banner. Ganesh not only confirmed Rahman’s involvement in D56, but also teased another upcoming Dhanush film to be produced by Vels Film International, which is speculated to be directed by Por Thozhil filmmaker Vignesh Raja.
Rahman has previously composed for several Dhanush films, including Raanjhanaa (2013), Maryan (2013), and Atrangi Re (2021).
Fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement from the makers, as expectations run high for this power-packed collaboration.
