May 22 marks one month since the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where terrorists killed 26 civilians on April 22. The attackers escaped after the attack and are still being searched for by security forces.
On May 7, India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror groups in Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir, killing nine terrorists. Many saw this as justice for the Pahalgam victims.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Jammu and Kashmir Police have been working hard to find the terrorists. They have received many leads, but most have turned out to be false or misleading. The search is still ongoing.
