The registration process for undergraduate admissions to arts and science courses in Tamil Nadu colleges is nearing its final phase, with the application window set to close on 27th May 2025. According to the latest data, over 2 lakh students have already applied for the upcoming academic year.

The online application portal, www.tngasa.in, opened for registrations on 7th May 2025, inviting eligible and interested students to apply for a wide range of arts and science programs offered across government and government-aided colleges in the state.

As of yesterday evening, a total of 1,98,263 applications had been submitted. Out of these, 1,57,098 applicants have successfully paid their application fees, marking their applications as complete.

With just a day left, officials expect the number of applicants to rise further as students rush to meet the deadline. The Tamil Nadu Government Arts and Science Colleges Admissions (TNGASA) portal provides a centralized and transparent process for admissions, helping streamline enrollment across colleges in the state.

Prospective students are urged to complete their applications and ensure fee payment by the deadline to avoid missing out on admission opportunities.
