Leader of the Opposition and AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) said on Monday that Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s dream of continuing in power will not come true if the AIADMK stays strong. He said the party will put an end to DMK’s family-based politics in the 2026 Assembly elections.
EPS was speaking at Chinnasalem in Kallakurichi after hoisting the party flag on a 126-foot pole. He also gave welfare items to the poor and promised that AIADMK will come back to power soon.
Earlier in the day, EPS posted on social media, questioning Stalin’s recent trip to Delhi. He asked about a person named Ritish, who is said to be close to Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. EPS demanded that the Chief Minister explain who Ritish is and how he became so rich in recent years.
