Apply for UG medical, dental courses in TN govt colleges from June 6

Applications for undergraduate medical and dental courses in Tamil Nadu will open from June 6 for the 2025–26 academic year. A consultative meeting, led by Health Minister Ma Subramanian, was held at Omandurar Government Hospital to discuss the allocation of government and administrative quota seats in private medical colleges. According to an official press release, private medical colleges are now required to clearly disclose all additional fees, including hostel and tuition fees, to ensure transparency for students and parents. In previous years, applications for UG courses were accepted only after the NEET exam results were announced, often leaving students with very little time to apply. To address this, the government has decided to extend the application window this year. Students who wait for the NEET results before applying will get up to 5 days after the results are declared to submit their applications, giving them more time for documentation and verification. @@@@
